Feature 1: Our 3 pillars (Manufacturing Division, Development Division, and Ceramics Division)The 3 divisions which make up the foundation of our system are the Manufacturing Division, Development Division, and Ceramics Division.
The Manufacturing Division processes precision components using all types of machine tools. We have various equipment which can meet a wide range of needs with 5-axis control machining centers at the top of the list and including combined lathes, high speed electric discharge machines, wire cut processing machines, rotary surface grinding machines, and formation/cylindrical grinding machines. Our highly advanced technology helps us carry out processing of precision components. The Development Division designs and drafts all types of jigs, tools, and labor-saving equipment to meet our client's demands. This division is an integrated production system which is ultimately involved in assembly, adjustments, and commissioning. Component processing is advantageous in both time and costs because processing is carried out internally in the Manufacturing Division. This division also provides support for needs such as designs, functionality checks, and prototypes (presentations) from 3D printers.

The Ceramic Division has expertise in the 3D processing and fine processing of hard brittle materials and difficult-to-cut materials with equipment such as ultrasonic rotary processors (5-axis control) and high speed linear machining centers. Water jet processors do not generate heat in the object so the processed item can be cut without thermal deformations occurring. Processing is carried out quickly and we also handle cutting of soft materials such as rubber and sponges.

Product 1: 3D processing of difficult-to-cut materials
Aoyama Precision Industry can carry out 3D processing and fine processing of hard brittle materials and difficult-to-cut materials with equipment such as ultrasonic rotary processors (5-axis control) and high speed linear machining centers.
The picture is the processed product of grinding from pure difficult-to-cut materials (titanium) in a 3D configuration with 5-axis control ultrasonic rotary processors.

Product 2: 3D processing of hard brittle materials
Aoyama Precision Industry can carry out 3D (combined) processing on hard brittle materials with a CAD/CAM system which enables us to meet the demands of designers even for processing which is conventionally deemed difficult. We can carry out drilling of traditional aluminum and zirconia along with machining and grinding work with ultrasonic rotary processors (ultrasonic 20) at one-third of the time enabling us to provide support under a short term. The picture is the processed product of grinding from pure brittle materials in a 3D configuration with 5-axis control ultrasonic rotary processors.

Product 3: Fine processing of difficult-to-cut materials
We carry out processing of difficult-to-cut materials such as titanium and molybdenum with an abundant amount of equipment.
The picture is a prototype for a joint operation between business, academia, and government with Akita University. The material is titanium and this was processed using a 5-axis control machining center. This product is for testing the durability of bones. In addition, the picture on the right shows text reading "Aoyama" carved at a width of 30ยต on the titanium tip  (0.73mm tall and 1.1mm wide) smaller than a grain of rice using a high speed linear machine center.

Product 4: Water jet processing
Water jet processing emits water at an extremely high pressure and garnet (an abrasive) simultaneously to cut the object without thermal deformations occurring. Cutting speed is fast and it is possible to cut soft materials with this process.
